Grüner Veltliner, this wine has received good reviews over the years from the
Falstaff Österreich Weinguide. The 2001 vintage received 88 points and 2002
received 86 points.

-Aged 1 year in French barriques.
-The Bienenfresser is the flagship
wine for the Pitnauer estate. Year-after-year, the Falstaff Österreich
Weinguide has awarded this wine high ratings. The 1997 and 1999 vintages
received 90 points and the 2001 was rated 89 points. The 2002 weighted in at
90 points.
