- The proprietor of Weingut Prinz, Fred Prinz, made a name for himself as the top part-time winemaker in the Rheingau, while maintaining his day job as the winemaker at the Rheingau's largest estate, Kloster Eberbach. Since September of 2004, Mr. Prinz has devoted his energies full-time to making superb wines under the Prinz label only. This is only the beginning for this exceptional boutique German winery.

The goldkapsel comes from the original part of the Hallgartner Jungfer vineyard. 15% of the grapes were infected with botrytis. Super intense! Ripe peaches,
