Magellan Wine Imports, Inc.

Back in the 1880's, George Zimmerer (right) left his home in the Baden Wurttemberg region of Germany to come to America.  He brought his beer making skills to Chicago where he settled down as braumeister for a Chicago brewery.  He worked as the braumeister until Prohibition ended his career. 

91 years later, George Zimmerer's great grandson and founder of Magellan, Erik Quam, goes back to the family roots and begins importing beer from Germany.
