Zull - Weinviertel, Austria
- Situated one hour Northwest of Vienna, Weingut Zull is located in the wine region of the Weinviertel. The Zull family is one of the leading wineries from this region. The winery specializes in Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, but also makes some spectacular Pinot Noir and dessert wines. Young Phillip Zull is the current generation to run the estate.

Lust & Laune Gruner Veltliner
Lust und Laune mean Joy and Pleasure in German. This Grüner provides plenty of pleasure. The nose has the distinctive peppery ness associated with Grüner.
On the palate, grapefruit, herbs, apple and spicy white pepper on the finish.Lust & Laune Blauer Portugieser
Ruby red, youthfully fresh bouquet. A fruity, easy drinking red wine loaded with plum and dark berry fruits.
Gruner Veltliner Aussere Bergen
The Ausser Bergen is harvested later. It shows the versatility of Grüner. The grape can make simple, crisp whites or rich, full-bodied wines with great aging potential. More rich and viscous on the palate, the Assere Bergen has ripe tropical fruit, mango and Asian pear with good acidity on the finish.
Riesling Innere Bergen
Austria produces a lot of wonderful Rieslings, which are quite a bit different from their German cousins. Austrian Riesling is always fermented dry. This wine has lime, apples and pears on the nose. On the palate, Riesling wonderful fruitiness shines through even though the wine has only 6 grams of residual sugar. The finish has a silky minerality that lingers on the palate.
